In case you don’t follow the crust scene or the ABBA cover band scene, basically, there are two bands named Tragedy. One band is a metal tribute to The Bee Gees. And one is the Nashville (now Portland) crust band above who are so good that they will put hair on your private parts. They are notorious for having little to no online presence so occasionally, you’ll get an email from a venue announcing an upcoming Tragedy show. You get all excited and then open it and realize it’s the Bee Gees cover band. Which is cool, if that’s your thing. But for us, we’re more into the other Tragedy, even though we hear they’re kinda goobers in real life who go to Seattle Seahawks games in full facepaint. So we’re pretty amped that they added a NYC show next month. Anyway, we bought like a dozen tickets so we’ll see you there.
